How much are the transfer fees and charges using Kobotrade services
There is no transfer fee or charges. All remittances are completely free.
Is there a limit to how much I can send?
- At the moment you can send up to $950 CAD equivalent daily, however once you complete your KYC verification, then you can send a maximum of $3,000 CAD daily,$10,000 CAD Monthly.
- The minimum transaction is $50 CAD
How long will it take for the funds to get to the beneficiary's account?
Your money will be delivered to your recipient within 5 minutes. However in the unlikely event we or our payout partners experience technical problems it could take a little longer. The 5 minutes mentioned is from when you initiate the naira send request not when you fund your CAD wallet on the kobotrade Web platform.
Why do I need to verify my Identity?
- We are mandated by regulatory authorities in Canada to verify your identity before you can perform certain transactions.
- To align with existing laws of Proceeds of Crime(Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA)

How often do I have to verify my Identity
Only once, however we may ask you to update your identification every 4 years or when your identification has expired.

How much can I earn through the Referral program?
- There is no limit to how much you can earn, it depends on how much people you refer to kobotrade, as long as you invite more friends and family you will keep getting $10 for each successful referral.
- Regardless of the volume or frequency of transaction of your invitee, you will earn $10 for each invitee.
How safe is my personal information, data and Identity

- Customer Information, retention, deletion and sharing is subject to provisions in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of kobotrade which we advise you read carefully and consent to before initiating any transactions on the kobotrade website, web application and Mobile app.
- Our identity verification partners Veriff, only stores personal Data only for as long as the retention of data is required by law. At the end of the retention period, we shall permanently erase the Personal Data or anonymize it. Based on Canadian regulatory scope these data will be permanently deleted in 48 months.
